HSBC Qianhai Securities Limited (HSBC Qianhai), a joint venture securities company, was incorporated on 28 August 2017, pursuant to Supplementary Agreement X to the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangements (CEPA) between the mainland and Hong Kong.

The registered capital of HSBC Qianhai is RMB1.8 billion. The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) holds 90% of the shares, while Qianhai Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. (QFH) holds the remaining 10%. Our headquarters are located in Qianhai, Shenzhen. We have branch offices in Beijing and Shanghai, and a trading outlet in Qianhai, Shenzhen.

2. Job Description

As an MD to help us develop, build and grow our China Coverage business and cross-border collaboration with HSBC offshore coverage teams.

· To maximize the revenues of client portfolio and maximize the IB’s share of clients wallets.

· Leverage internal customer groups to grow client relationships and enhance revenues and referrals.

· Build the Investment Banking franchise value/reputation in the market place.

· Develop and maintain ‘trusted advisor’ relationship and access at key decision maker level for assigned current and target clients.

· Work collectively with Product Partners and GB teams in the region and globally.

· Contribute to the building of a professional, proactive, and performance-driven culture; assist with succession planning for the sector and/or country/region and participate in coaching schemes as appropriate.

· Manage origination/execution/advisory teams established for particular deals and ensure that deals are completed both in a timely and effective manner.

· Where management responsibilities assigned, maximize the effectiveness of subordinates and provide guidance to his/her development.

· Support the implementation of major change initiatives within Investment Banking Department.

· Minimise and control risks to the Securities JV and Group’s reputation first.

· Act with integrity in all dealings and puts the Securities JV and Group’s reputations first.
