The Reimbursement Coordinator, RN is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for the services provided by the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of medical coding, billing practices, and healthcare regulations.
In this role the Reimbursement Coordinator, RN will:
Timely and accurate completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), including the Minimum Data Set (MDS) asprescribed by State and Federal regulationsAssist in identifying the problems and potential care planning issuesCoordinate completion of the CAA summaries and the interdisciplinary staff involvement in assessment and care planning.Ensure ARD dates are established which will optimize reimbursement with PPS.Coordinates and supervises the care planning system and process to ensure the resident care plan accurately reflects the needs
and preferences of individual residents and ensures the care plan schedules are distributed to IDT members.Ability to train, mentor and manage a team. Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.Knowledge of medical terminology to ensue correct coding and billing processes.Knowledge of privacy regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.Ability to comply with ethical and timeliness standards when setting ARDs, completing assessments, and upholding Medicare requirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required Degree: Associate's degree, Nursing
Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
Certificate(s):
Registered Nurse in the state. RN license must be active and in good standing. Active licensure status maintained.

Four hearing requirements listed: In person speech, Telephone, Other remote speech and other sounds. Clarity of Vision For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers. For Far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. This is not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well. For peripheral vision, observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.Compensation Pay Range:
$75,600.00 - $92,978.46Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $75,600.00 - $92,978.46.
