Job Summary:
R3 seeks a Dive Table of Allowance (TOA) Commodity Manager/Logistician in direct support of EODGRU TWO, mobile diving and salvage material in-use by MDSU TWO, to include tracking of repair, maintenance, logistics, and associated systems for a variety of dive equipment at Mobile Dive Salvage Unit TWO. Approximately 10% of travel is anticipated.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provide SME for the use and sustainment of U.S. Navy approved diving and salvage materiel. Advise the development and revision of Diving Techniques and Procedures (DTPs).
+ Monitor diving and salvage materiel inventory and readiness databases to ensure the proper inventory accounting and readiness reporting of related materiel in-use by MDSU TWO, and report status to the EOD Materiel Coordinator at least monthly. Monitor the physical accounting of diving and salvage materiel inventory at least annually, as well as obtain and maintain access to RCRP, DPAS, or other designated government authoritative database as appropriate, to monitor inventories and report discrepancies/shortfalls.
+ Capture and maintain an inventory of diving and salvage materiel on loan or lease from an outside entity.
+ Maintain a current library of all publications, instructions, and messages related to diving and salvage materiel in-use by MDSU TWO.
+ Assist the coordination of issue and receipt of diving and salvage materiel aboard MDSU TWO.
+ Coordinate with supporting TOA Custodians the receipt and issue of non-MDSU materiel necessary to support MDSU operations.
+ Assist the coordination of diving and salvage materiel maintenance and repair conducted by outside entities. Develop scopes of work and obtain service quotes when required, and schedule and track the status of diving and salvage materiel undergoing maintenance or repair by outside activities, providing status updates as required.
+ Advise short and long-term maintenance plans.
+ Assist the phase replacement, technical refresh, and disposition of diving and salvage materiel aboard MDSU TWO.
+ Assist the coordination of training related to the use and sustainment of diving and salvage materiel, to include hyperbaric chamber systems, to include oxygen workers, and provide after-action reports as required.
+ Assist in the development of short and long-range training plans, to include, but not limited to, the Master Scenario Events List.
+ Conduct training in the maintenance and repair of SCUBA regulators in-use by MDSU TWO.
+ Coordinate the submission of air samples to the DCAT program and the delivery of related results. Immediately notify EODGRU TWO and MDSU TWO whenever an air sample is found unsafe, and coordinate removal of the affected compressor from service.
+ Coordinate the certification of diving and salvage materiel aboard MDSU TWO, to include hyperbaric chamber systems.
Qualifications:
+ Employee must have no less than ten (10) years’ experience as an US Navy First Class Diver or Master Diver, paygrade of E-7 or higher, with equal experience in salvage operations, and no less than three (3) years’ experience in Navy Expeditionary Combat Force Logistics management.
+ Have no less than one (1) years’ experience using Microsoft Teams.
