Job SummaryThe M&R department is responsible for safely maintaining gate and district regulator stations and their associated equipment which provide natural gas to several counties in PA and Maryland. They also maintain major accounts/industrial meter sets.
Duties and Responsibilities Complete all PUC compliance requirements for regulation and measurement devices in the Shippensburg, Waynesboro, Emmitsburg MD, Lewistown, Huntingdon, and Bedford areas; responsible for assisting other departments to resolve billing disputes, including installation and upgrades of new equipment. Leadership under general supervision with Capital and O&M Projects. Aid field personnel in the installation of new industrial and commercial meter sets. Other tasks as assigned Call out when deemed qualified Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to apply technical knowledge of electronic principles to perform testing and calibration of M&R equipment. Proficient with computer applications; including but not limited to, all Microsoft Applications, serial and IP communications, and calibration software Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to work effectively independently and with other employees in a team environment. Maintain accurate records Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational Technical school/training a plus, Associate Degree in business, engineering, or related field a plus. 2 years in the natural gas or related field Valid Drivers License
