Summary

Perform duties as they relate to shipping and receiving of all goods at the Meter Shop, including but not limited to all types of meters and related equipment. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Duties:

Operate manual and motorized forklifts in order to ship and/or receive goods. Make deliveries of meters and related equipment to company locations or job sites. Perform light maintenance to the facility. Assist in the management of inventory. Maintain a clean and safe work area. In the Meter Shop, test residential grade meters (200 series and below) and install and program ERT devices on all grades of meters. In the Meter Shop and the field, assist higher classifications in the performance of their duties. Years of Experience 0 years of experienceJob Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

High school diploma or GED. Ability to acquire knowledge to diagnose and correct the usual operating difficulties with meters and associated AMI / AMR devices. Ability to acquire a thorough working knowledge of corporate safety rules and practices. Ability to acquire a thorough working knowledge of testing procedure, and the operation and maintenance of meters, meter test equipment and other related devices applicable to the work. Must possess a valid U. S driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record. Must have successfully passed the GAS test.

Desired

Experience working in the Measurement Meter Shop. Ability to qualify for a commercial drivers license (Class B with air brake endorsement). Education High School
