SUMMARY

The Meat Apprentice works under the Meat Manager learning meat cutting skills and equipment use, while providing genuine customer service.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn how to read cutting listsLearn how to cut all primal to specific techniquesLearn how to grind meatsLearns how to rotate product properlyLearns how to operate wrapping scale & other machinery in Meat DepartmentLearns how to receive and process meat shipmentsMaintains meat casesFills cases/stocks meatAssists customers with requests and informationCleans and sanitizes equipment, cases work area, and sales floorWorks within company programs, policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned
