Job\n Description:Perform mechanical design function on new product development teams defining customer requirements, develop and select best concepts, designs, and implementation into production for Electro-mechanical / Mechanical productsHave an working experience in NPI / Product Development Life Cycle and Product Design skills withproblem solving and analytical capability Have an working experience is Product Sustenance, Product Extensions \\ Product Modification engineering activities.Fundamental knowledge of mechanical Engineering, Experience in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis. Good knowledge in Drafting Standards especially ASME 14.5MHave understanding on Different Manufacturing Processes like Metal Parts Machining, Casting, sheet metal process, Plastic Injection Molding, Joining methodologies (crimpling, welding, brazing, soldering), potting.Expertise in 3D modeling and parametric detailing, family tables. Expertise in using CAD package SolidWorks® & Teamcenter.Exposure and experience in Value Engineering/component engineering methodologies, with experience in tear down analysis and reporting Experience analyzing and selecting materials (metal & Plastic Parts) & finishes for optimizing design parameters. Should be able to provide inputs to simulations and interpret the simulation results to make design decisions.Experience in Six Sigma methodology and statistical analysis and proven track record applying this in prior designs will be an added advantage. Experience onDesign for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM),& Design to CostHands on Experience for mechanical testing Must have experience to Engineering change Request and Engineering change order implementationAbility tounderstand different mechanical and Electricalpart design and applications, to support the design teamDemonstrates Good oral and written communication skills.
