Mission:
Assist and check engineering teams in preparing\nmechanical lay outs, equipment distribution, performs equipment selection,\ndefines bill of materials and product models configurations, also performing\nmaterials ordering following project plans and schedules on medium and high\ncomplexity projects, under minimal supervision.
Performs mechanical design activities under the supervision of\nmechanical engineering lead or leads a Mechanical Project Engineering team in\nall types of projects sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and\nin accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety\nrequirements. Also performs on-site commissioning ensuring equipment’s\ndistribution within the building as well as appropriate flow of the process.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Technical
contribution Prepares and\ncoordinate mechanical engineering drawings in collaboration with engineering\nspecialists using CAD system. Prepares lay outs integrating several levels for\nmaterial handling flow and supports BOM definition accordingly, by meeting\nmanufacturing & customer pre-approved schedules. Provides support during\nsite commissioning ensuring equipment’s distribution and performance. Supports\nand propose continuous improvement of project process/product/ system design\nvia provision of lessons learned feedback.
2. Planning and control
Delivers in house assignments as per the agreed timeline and set\nquality standards for 2D/3D CAD work. Follows work plans and ensures cost\nestimates for work within project budgets, troubleshooting and support\nactivities.
3. Processes and tools
Ensures accurate application and implementation of standard design\npractices and tools in preparing accurate drawings and 3D modeling. Uses\nstandard processes and procedures to ensure all layout and equipment selection\nactivities comply with projects specifications to satisfy contractual\nrequirements. Reports processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests\nimprovements ideas.
4. Risk and opportunity
Supports and coordinate in conducting risk and opportunity\nassessments during site commissioning phase and in handling technical risks by\nfollowing mitigation guidelines during equipment’s distribution phases.
5. Customer
Interacts with internal customer on scheduled project reviews as\nwell as with external customers and support them on requests.
6. Industrial Experience
More than +5 years of industrial experience.
