**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and assembling equipment on work trucks, including beds, plows, tool boxes, and more. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts. The mechanic will also perform testing and inspections on all installed components and conduct wiring as needed. **Responsibilities** + Install and assemble equipment on work trucks (beds, plows, tool boxes, etc.) + Assemble tool boxes to the back of trucks + Bolt on truck boxes + Install mud flaps on trucks + Mount crane holders and ramp holders to trucks + Install tail lights + Read blueprints/work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts on trucks + Perform testing and inspections on all installed components + Conduct wiring as needed **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude with at least 2 years of experience (auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, military mechanic, industrial mechanic, etc.) + Ability to read blueprints or work instructions + Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools + Ownership of basic hand tools (sockets and wrenches in SAE and metric sizes) + Ability to lift 50 lbs + Proficiency in reading a tape measure + Ownership of steel toes or composite toe shoes **Why Work Here?** Join a stable company with a rich history dating back to 1848.
