Assists higher level mechanics in working on a variety of mobile equipment and vehicles. May also be responsible for repair and maintenance of equipment powered by small internal combustion engines such as: lawnmowers, string trimmers, outboard motors, etc. Tasks may include spark plug replacement, carburetor cleaning, starter repair, and filter replacement. Removes and cleans fuel tanks. May maintain inventory of tools, instruments, and supplies.
