Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and assembling equipment on work trucks, including beds, plows, tool boxes, and more. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts. The mechanic will also perform testing and inspections on all installed components and conduct wiring as needed.

ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble equipment on work trucks (beds, plows, tool boxes, etc.)Assemble tool boxes to the back of trucksBolt on truck boxesInstall mud flaps on trucksMount crane holders and ramp holders to trucksInstall tail lightsRead blueprints/work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts on trucksPerform testing and inspections on all installed componentsConduct wiring as neededEssential SkillsMechanical aptitude with at least 2 years of experience (auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, military mechanic, industrial mechanic, etc.)Ability to read blueprints or work instructionsProficiency in using hand, power, and air toolsOwnership of basic hand tools (sockets and wrenches in SAE and metric sizes)Ability to lift 50 lbsProficiency in reading a tape measureOwnership of steel toes or composite toe shoesWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
