We're looking for qualified and experienced fleet technicians to diagnose, repair, and perform daily safety inspections on vehicles and equipment. Schedule: + Shift Hours: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM + Work Schedule: 4 days a week (10-hour shifts) + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Qualifications: + Minimum of 3 years’ experience with heavy duty diesel + Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent. + Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics. + Must have knowledge of Cummins In-Site program and functions. + Must have in-depth computer knowledge to be able to scan and diagnose trouble codes. + ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided. + Excellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams. + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. + Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. + Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces + Push and pull, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level. + Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
