Weston & Sampson is looking for a Mechanic for the Cape Cod region with 0-5 years of experience for the Service operations division. The work involves multiple skills including, but not limited to, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants.
What you’ll do:
Service, repair and maintain wastewater/water pump stations and treatment facility equipmentKnowledgeable of proper use and care for equipment and supplies; Maintain equipment and supplies and keep in good working orderConduct troubleshooting and repairs of pump controls and basic electrical knowledgeActive participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stationsPerform maintenance, repair and new installation of PVC, and ductile iron piping and valves.Provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner.Ability to work overtime and weekends if neededWhat you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalentExperience with mechanical repairsStrong interpersonal skills, including writing and verbal communication Self-motivated and the ability to work independentlyAbility to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple assignmentsComputer skills including a Microsoft OfficeMust be able to communicate through email & complete reports in a timely and complete mannerAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feetValid Driver’s License
