**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** A Construction and Dirt haul-off company in South Austin seeks a mechanic with 1-3 years of experience working on large trucks or heavy equipment. No diesel experience is needed. The role requires mechanical aptitude and may include some electrical work, though this is not mandatory. Candidates must have their own tools suitable for heavy mechanic work on vehicles or trucks. **Hard Skills** + Maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment or trucks + Changing oil + Performing PM (Preventive Maintenance) work + Conducting minor repairs **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas. **Work Environment** NON-CLIMATE CONTROLLED environment with 5-6 bays and fans in the shop.
