**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** Our client is looking for a Mechanic. In this role, the candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles, and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. - Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and buses - Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes - Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop - Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs - Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks - Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles - CDL License a plus (not required) **Hard Skills** + Heavy Equipment Mechanic + Diesel Mechanic + Electrical + Troubleshooting **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Boston, Massachusetts. **Work Environment** Candidates will be working in a mechanic shop that is indoors. It gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The culture in this location is very laid back, and everyone helps each other out. They will be working with the lead mechanics in the shop.
