Job Title: Mechanic

Job Description

Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately with limited supervision. The role involves bodywork on trucks, collision repair, panel replacements, painting truck parts and equipment, and some welding. Working with fiberglass is a huge plus.

ResponsibilitiesPerform work as outlined on repair orders.Conduct bodywork on trucks and collision repair.Handle panel replacements and painting of truck parts and equipment.Perform some welding tasks.Work with hand and power tools to fabricate products.Work on hydraulics and mechanical tasks.Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.Install truck accessories and handle diesel repairs.Read and interpret blueprints.Essential Skills1 year of mechanic experience or installation experience on vehicles, specifically industrial trucks.Experience with repairing and replacing truck bodies.Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.Forklift operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency with hand and power tools.Experience with truck repair, autobody repair, and collision repair.Ability to work with hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and blueprints.Experience with welding and troubleshooting.Must have own small hand tools and a tool box to use at the shop.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a large job shop with multiple buildings and garages. Each mechanic has their own bay. The environment can be loud at times and warm during the summer, but overhead doors are opened for better air flow.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
