Job Posting: Shop Mechanic

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble electric motors and pumps. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical inclination with some electrical knowledge and the ability to test electro-mechanical rotating equipment using various methods (AC/DC).

Responsibilities:

Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble electric motors and pumps.Perform grinding operations.Test electro-mechanical rotating equipment.Replace or repair mechanical/electrical parts and assemblies.Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.

Essential Skills:

Experience with AC/DC motors and troubleshooting.Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.2+ years of experience with industrial motors or automotive/diesel transmissions.High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.Trade school, vocational/technical training, or certifications.Ability to understand and retain training and safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $61000.00
