Mechanic
**HIRING MECHANICS AT DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT** Mechanics will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans at the airport. Mechanics must be comfortable working outside because 30% of the work will be outdoors. **PAY:** $28.50HR - $33.50HR (BASED ON EXPERIENCE/OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT) **QUALIFICATIONS:** + 2+ years of mechanic experience (automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, etc.) + Specific on the job training will be provided + Must be familiar and own a set of tools + Must be able to work part of each day in the Colorado elements (30% of the work is outdoors) **JOB DESCRIPTION:** + Use hand tools and power tools to repair ground support vehicles and equipment. + Read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment. + Maintain equipment that includes hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery. + Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine whether repairs are needed. + Troubleshoot issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs. + Schedule periodic maintenance for ground support vehicles and equipment. + Maintain a clean and safe repair shop. + Track inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance. + Maintain repair log for vehicles and equipment. **SHIFTS AVAILABLE:** 1st shift - 6:00AM-2:30PM 2nd shift - 2:00PM-10:30PM 3rd shift - 10:00PM-6:00AM Weekend shift **BENEFITS:** + Medical, dental & vision + Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital + 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available + Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) + Short and long-term disability + Health Spending Account (HSA) + Transportation benefits + Employee Assistance Program + Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $33.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
