**Job Title: Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, rebuilding, and testing of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves. You will specify the necessary parts and labor needed to complete the repair, as well as provide a failure analysis. Other duties may include assembly/fabrication, plumbing, and testing of hydraulic components, along with troubleshooting, removal, installation, and repairs on customer equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
+ Specify necessary parts and labor needed to complete repairs and provide failure analysis.
+ Perform assembly/fabrication, plumbing, and testing of hydraulic components.
+ Troubleshoot, remove, install, and repair customer equipment.
+ Review work orders, contracts, customer specifications, manufacturer catalogs, bill of materials, and specifications by customer and/or manufacturer written and/or verbal instructions.
+ Pick and visually check inventory to assemble reducers, shafting, and hose for proper functioning, identification, and adherence to customer specifications.
+ Assemble gearing, hose, and/or shafting to customer specifications and quality expectations.
+ Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and proper receiving methods.
+ Reduce complexity, drive standardization in data and processes, deliver on customer expectations, and eliminate downtime.
+ Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment (e.g., oil changes, cleaning).
+ Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to the Team Leader.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a normal manufacturing environment with a consistent Monday - Friday shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
