Job Description
Position Overview: The candidate will report to the Express Repair Service Manager and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading liquid tanks, truck chassis, and fluid delivery systems/pumps.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose Issues: Identify structural and operational problems with tanks, chassis, and fluid systems.Repair and Replace Parts: Restore equipment functionality by replacing failing parts and repairing malfunctioning components, including welding and fabricating.Install Upgrades: Enhance equipment efficiency by installing additional parts.Perform Tests: Conduct Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) tests on petroleum tanks and chassis.Follow Job Orders: Execute tasks as per customer requests and manager’s directions.Essential SkillsProficiency in using and maintaining various tools (hand, electric, pneumatic, welding/cutting).Ability to read and comprehend work orders, safety manuals, and other instructions.Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.Familiarity with safety standards in motor vehicle repair environments.Effective time management and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious mechanic experience in industries such as heavy equipment, automotive, diesel truck, industrial maintenance, etc.Ability to troubleshoot or learn how to troubleshoot various systems including pumps/fluid power systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical.Previous welding/fabrication experience is preferred.Owned toolset is preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
