Job Title: Skilled Mechanic

Location: Spokane, WA

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description: We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Spokane. This role involves the production, assembly, and maintenance of custom vehicles, including fire trucks, lube trucks, service bodies, truck-mounted cranes, air compressors, platforms, vans, and lift gates.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the production, assembly, and maintenance of custom vehicles.Install vehicle service beds, wiring, and hydraulic components.Troubleshoot and install hydraulic components.Perform custom metal fabrication.Work with basic chassis wiring and trailer wiring.Install various components such as flatbeds, service bodies, lift axles, crane kits, and dump bodies.Fabricate metal using MIG, wire-feed, air arc, and plasma cutter.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in vehicle wiring, hydraulics, and fabrication.Expertise in wire feed/MIG welding.Ability to troubleshoot and install hydraulic components.Experience in custom metal fabrication.

Additional Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
