**Job Title: Facilities Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Mechanic to join our team. This role will primarily involve working on HVAC systems and boilers, with occasional general plumbing, building repair, carpentry, and renovation tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain valuable experience and establish themselves within a successful company. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance and repair on HVAC systems and boilers. + Conduct general plumbing, building repair, carpentry, and renovation projects. + Assist with snow removal in winter and be on-call for related tasks. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs. + Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of facilities. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience with HVAC and boiler systems. + Experience in facilities maintenance. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Strong troubleshooting and repair skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General maintenance skills including painting, electrical work, and carpentry. + EPA certification is a plus. + Strong desire to assist wherever needed and take on various projects. **Why Work Here?** We offer a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing you to gain exposure and experience within a reputable company.
