**Job Title: Mechanic**
**Shift**
1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm
2nd shift: 2pm to 10:30pm
Overtime may be required.
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tearing apart machines, troubleshooting issues, and rebuilding machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to read blueprints or schematics.
**Responsibilities**
+ Tear apart machines for troubleshooting and rebuilding
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
+ Perform diagnostic testing to identify problems
+ Work with hydraulics and welding as needed
+ Assist in a machine shop environment
+ Ensure production equipment is maintained and operating efficiently
**Essential Skills**
+ 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in Heavy Equipment Manufacturing
+ Proficiency in blueprint and schematic reading
+ Strong troubleshooting skills
+ Experience with manufacturing processes
+ Knowledge of diagnostic testing
+ Hydraulics and welding skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in heavy automotive repair is acceptable

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes first shift from 6am to 2:30pm plus overtime, and second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm plus overtime. The facility is equipped with lifts and maintains a clean and temperature-controlled setting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
