In this role, you will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment in the tissue mill.

Inspect, test, and monitor equipment for wear and tear, and replace components as needed to maintain peak performance.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the appropriate solutions, including diagnosing complex problems with production equipment.

Assist with the installation, alignment, and calibration of new machinery and equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures to minimize breakdowns.

Work with electrical and instrumentation teams to support cross-functional troubleshooting and repairs as needed.

Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to machinery operation, environmental impact, and safety.

Assist in inventory management and ordering of replacement parts as needed.

Collaborate with production teams to support seamless operations and reduce downtime during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency.

About You

As a person, you’re a balanced thinker, a motivated fixer – someone who is always taking initiative to solve problems, make things better and respectfully engage others along the journey with you. As a mechanic, you have a strong technical track record, work best under pressure and deliver high value to your team by owning issues through resolution, exercising strong situational judgment and favoring a proactive vs. reactive approach to equipment maintenance.  You also…
Are 18 years or older and are authorized to work in the United States.

Have a High School Diploma or GED

Have a 2-year related technical degree and a minimum of atleast 2 years work experience in a related manufacturing field, including experience with high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment

Can read and write basic English

Have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)

Are able to work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime

Can physically work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, and enter confined spaces

Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
