**Hiring Electricians in Ghent, KY!** **Responsibilities** + repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment + Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit + Cuts wire and conduit to length + Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords + Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair + Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency + Troubleshoots, repair, and installs electronic and PLCs, circuitry, and PC boards into plant machinery + Uses blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications + Uses electrical hand tools and voltage or amperage measuring and recording devices + Requires interpretation of wiring diagrams or schematic drawings + May develop wiring diagrams + May include maintenance of electronic or solid state controls having interlocking or interdependent circuits **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + Cutting wire and conduit + 480v + Knowledge of NCE + Reading wiring diagrams or schematic drawings **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Mechanical aptitude + Mechanical/Electrical Assembly experience **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
