Our company manufactures, repairs, and services marine crafts. We are seeking an experienced individual to install and repair mechanical systems on vessels. This role involves working on several new projects lined up for various marine crafts.
ShiftMon - Thurs: 6:00AM-4:15PM5x8 available if preferredWage$25-$35 depending on experienceResponsibilitiesWork with production and project managers to establish estimates, schedules, material orders, and production details.Operate all standard machinery and deck equipment.Perform associated duties such as welding, rigging, engine service, electrical repair, and pump and piping.Make recommendations for equipment, tools, processes, and supplies to improve project quality and meet targets.Support a culture of continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.Demonstrate safe work practices at all times.Require3+ years in a mechanical role.3+ years of experience in operation, repair, and maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatic systems.Level 3 or 4 apprentice with registered hours.Proficient in blueprint reading.Experience as a Marine Mechanic, Millwright apprentice, or Heavy-duty mechanic.Rigging experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsNew Build marine experience.Confined space training.Marine Mechanical certification.Marine engineering or equivalent experience, including on-board experience with shipyard periods.Why Work Here?
