Essential Functions & Responsibilities\n\nEnsures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.\nBuild, re-build and repair all parts of Company equipment as may be required in the department to which they are assigned.\nDiagnose any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdown or failure to a motor truck or related equipment. \nRead precision instruments such as voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators and other electronic diagnostic tools. \nPerform general equipment maintenance and repairs.\nWhen applicable, use basic MIG welding of steel and aluminum to complete repairs. \nOperate equipment to perform general equipment repair and installation.\nPerform assigned work in compliance with all Safe work procedures, guidelines, practices, permits, and air monitoring requirements.\n\n

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 year experience in truck trailer maintenance required. \n
SKILL \/ EDUCATION: High School Diploma or its equivalent required. \n
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Chauffer's License required. CDL preferred. Must have the ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment. Must have working knowledge of most of the systems located on a truck or truck tractor, or a semi trailer. Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record search to company standards. Apply knowledge of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. \n
