**Description**
The Mechanic maintains, installs, modifies, and repairs all equipment used in Filling, Compounding and R&D. In addition, the Mechanic provides mechanical support to the Production floor through equipment set⁃ups and continuous improvement projects to meet Estée Lauder's quality standards and expected line efficiencies.Position Responsibilities:⁃ Monitor and modify equipment to ensure maximum productivity and quality are achieved. ⁃ Perform trouble shooting and repairs on equipment located in all serviced departments. ⁃ Assist operators and fellow mechanics with challenges during set⁃ups, operation and troubleshooting of the equipment. ⁃ Maintain the inventory of needed spare parts. ⁃ Train operators on technical abilities of equipment. ⁃ Perform installations and assist in validation of new equipment. ⁃ Performs general mechanical tasks to meet both production and building needs.
**Qualifications**
⁃ Ability to lift 50 lbs. ⁃ Must be able to display basic mechanical/technical skills ⁃ Must be able to display basic computer skills ⁃ Must have strong communication, problem solving and multi⁃tasking skills ⁃ Education / Work Experience: Two years college or technical school or three years of experience in related field ⁃ Must possess basic equipment knowledge ⁃ Display strong math skills (addition, subtraction, %ages, averages)
