MECHANIC INTERMEDIATE Starting at $30.00 / hour with credit given for experience We're hiring a Mechanic Intermediate to provide preventive maintenance and repairs on AMR vehicles assigned. This is a second level position requires 2 years on the job experience as an automotive or truck mechanic experience. Responsibilities: Performs mechanical and electrical repairs as per policies and procedures. Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested. Assists other Mechanics as needed. Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices. Completes all required paperwork neatly, correctly and on time. Uses maintenance data base to document all completed tasks / job assignments. Attend all mandatory Fleet training. Performs all other duties as requested by Shop foreman or shop lead mechanic. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Minimum Required Qualifications: Valid driver’s license. High school diploma, or equivalent education (GED). 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience. 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension. MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification. 2 consecutive satisfactory yearly performance appraisals. Why Choose AMR?
