Key Responsibilities:
Examine valves or mechanical control device parts for defects, dents, or loose attachments, and mark malfunctioning areas of defective units. Attend safety meetings and work safely for your own protection and of those around you.Follow all directives and instructions. Detailed, accurate and clear records of critical data collected.Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player and handling other assigned tasks as required by the company. Perform additional assignments and tasks as directed. Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow directed safety procedures. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management. Perform mechanical work as required, including but not limited to; assembly, disassembly, honing, drilling, stoning and cleaning.Willingness to learn with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.Requirements:
Professional presence and appearance to represent the company.Solid working knowledge in the use of hand tools, precision tools, bolting equipment pneumatic/hydraulic and rigging.Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow specific written instructions and procedures. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing Experienced with measuring tools. Experienced with close tolerances, blueprint readings, standard and metric measurements.Exceptional organization and attention to details Complete datasheets as instructed.Work afternoon or night shift as assigned.Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, steel toed shoes, fire retardant overalls, escape respirators, etc.Experienced with close tolerances, blueprint readings, and metric measurements. Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow specific written instructions and procedures. Working knowledge of basic mathematical skills.Benefits
