Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC Inspector
Overview Doyon Government Group (DGG) provides Design-Build and General Construction Services on demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations. We are seeking a Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC Inspector to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and the ability to ensure their integration into the overall construction process. *We are open to Full Time Employees or 1099 independent contractors! Responsibilities: Lead and manage the mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets Supervise the installation of mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations Save Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing installations to ensure they meet project requirements and specifications Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts related to mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems during the construction process Ensure all mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing work adheres to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment on all project sites Qualifications: Construction professional with 5 years of experience supervising Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing features of work in the field with a construction company In-depth knowledge of systems, codes, and regulations PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasional travel required. SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range for this position is $60.00 to $120.00 per hour. Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. Paid Time Off, 10 paid holidays, 5 bereavement and 10 jury duty paid leave.
