Mechanical Analyst
Job Title: Mechanical Analyst Job Description Actalent is seeking a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Analyst. This full-time position provides the opportunity to solve real-world technical problems and support customers in the Marine, Industrial, and Power Generation industries. The role involves building theoretical models of engine or motor-driven mechanical systems using engineering data and drawings, and analyzing potential vibration issues using our software. Responsibilities + Acknowledge customer requests for work within one business day. + Communicate with customers to understand their needs and maintain accurate records in the project database for each project. + Deliver torsional vibration reports to customers within promised turnaround time. + Regularly contact customers to ensure they receive the necessary support. + Assist the Design team with CAD work using software such as Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. Essential Skills + Detail-oriented. + Strong project management skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + General knowledge of mechanical systems. + Ability to communicate professionally in writing and over the phone. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with vibration analysis (beneficial but not required). + Mechanical aptitude. + Proficiency in Excel. Work Environment The work environment includes using various CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. The role involves consistent communication with customers and maintaining project records. The position requires collaboration with the Design team and a professional approach to managing multiple tasks. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.44 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
