**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler $20-$23/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves receiving customer product returns, making decisions on product dispositions, providing detailed disassembly reports, and conducting both disassembly and assembly of pumps. You will prepare basic reports, complete tests while considering product and safety observations, perform flat rate repairs, and evaluate components to return products to usable condition. This position also requires troubleshooting for root cause failures, completing sections of Warranty/Repair Reports, assisting with necessary repairs and tests setup, and direct communication with engineering on evaluation findings. **Responsibilities** + Receive customer product returns and make decisions on product dispositions. + Provide detailed disassembly reports and documentation with pictures as requested by the customer. + Conduct disassembly and assembly of pumps. + Prepare basic reports. + Complete tests while considering product and safety observations. + Perform flat rate repairs, basic disassembly, and evaluation of components. + Utilize flat rate sheet for pricing reference purposes. + Evaluate and troubleshoot for root cause of failures. + Compare findings against standards and elevate as needed. + Complete applicable sections of Warranty/Repair Reports on returns and sign-off in the system. + Assist with the setup of necessary repairs and tests. + Communicate directly with engineering on evaluation findings, including documentation and pictures. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Experience as an automotive mechanic or trade school + Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions + Computer literacy and ability to navigate through a web browser **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and family-like environment with opportunities for long-term career growth.
