Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 to $22.00 /hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testingPerforms low to moderately complex assembly and testAssemble, install, align, adjust, fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipmentClean parts and maintain tooling and equipmentFollow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performedWork with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirementsComplete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner, including Quality Assurance and Test Record1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm
2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm
Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:
Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of basic hand toolsKnowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques and use inspection tools efficientlyThe ability to read and use inspection tools that apply to specific job and facilityKnowledge and ability to use torque wrenches to adjust parts and equipment, or install parts and equipment, following established specifications and proceduresAble to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facilityAble to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output informationAble to write effectively, to read and understand work documents and to communicate information clearly to coworkers and supervisorGeneral knowledge of machines and equipment functionality, and how tools could be used on such equipment/machinesApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
