Mechanical Assembler
**Job Title: First Shift Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Mechanical assemblers I are responsible for assembling medical devices following FDA guidelines and specifications. This role requires standing all day. The shifts available are 6:45am - 2:45pm (with an alternative 6am - 2:30pm shift on a different line) or 3pm - 11:30pm. Safety and quality are of utmost importance. Mandatory overtime may be required, with possible start times as early as 5am for the first shift or end times as late as 1am for the second shift. Responsibilities include building and packaging oxygen concentrators, inspecting prototypes, making modifications and upgrades, and packaging devices per manufacturing documentation. You will verify the accuracy of finished assemblies, perform mechanical assemblies using hand tools, maintain strict configuration controls, and perform ERP system transactions. Basic computer skills and strong communication skills are essential. This is a contract-to-hire position. **Hard Skills** + Mechanical or Electronic Assembly + Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of small devices + Use of hand tools (wrenches, drivers, sockets) + Ability to read blueprints + Basic computer skills + ERP system transactions **Soft Skills** + Strong communication skills + Attention to detail + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Ability to explain work experience in detail during interviews **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Plano, Texas. **Work Environment** Climate-controlled, manufacturing facility following FDA regulations and guidelines for medical devices.
