PDS Tech is seeking a skilled **Mechanical Assembler** with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a custom build shop or automotive mechanics. You'll be responsible for assembling highly engineered, custom-built mobile material handling machinery for rail-related markets, using mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic techniques, welding, and electrical wiring. **Shift: 6:00am- 4:30 pm** **Pay Rate: $20 - $22 per hour (based on experience)** **Location: Kansas City, MO** **Key Responsibilities:** + Assemble parts following blueprints, BOMs, and instructions. + Connect hydraulic/pneumatic hoses as per piping diagrams. + Perform wiring, testing, and calibration of machinery. + Use hand tools, jib cranes, and power tools for precise assembly. + Maintain productivity and high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment. **Qualifications:** + 3-5 years of mechanical assembly or auto mechanic experience preferred. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and 3D schematics. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + High school diploma or equivalent required.
