**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Hourly Target Rate: $20/hour 1st Shift: 5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Education/Experience • Requires a high school education or equivalent and 2 years mechanical assembly experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experienced in using hand tools and some power tools (Bandsaw, grinder, etc.) • Basic level understanding of mechanical hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) assembly • Basic level knowledge of blueprints, Bill of Materials and mechanical drawings • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions • Exhibits a strong mechanical aptitude • Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word) needed to perform the required duties • Experience with ERP systems is highly preferred • Requires ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, including ratios and fractions • Understanding of 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices is a plus • U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data. + Mechanical assembler + Blueprints + Hand tools + Power tools + Mechanical hardware assembly + Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word) + Experience with ERP systems + Simple mathematical calculations (ratios and fractions) **Soft Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude + Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Poway, California. **Work Environment** Manufacturing environment in Poway.
