Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Assembler to prepare, align, and assemble machinery parts, ensuring specifications are met through detailed mechanical work.

Job Requirements:

Experience with hammers, scales, wrenches, clamps, files, chisels, drills, portable electric drill, hand reamers and taps.

Proficiency in using drill press, bandsaw, bench vise, electric pipe threaders and cutters.

Familiarity with lift truck and pallet jack operation.

Ability to work from mechanical drawings and sketches.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of hydraulic, air & water piping operations.

Experience with computer systems for obtaining drawings and bills of material.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare area and align parts for assembly.

Work from mechanical drawings to assemble machinery parts.

Fabricate parts and perform drilling and tapping operations.

Assist in machine checkout by inspecting and testing machinery.

Polish and deburr parts as needed.

Align machines using aligning devices and log measurements.

Monitor part deliveries and perform inventory counts.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
