**Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for a long-term position with the potential for direct hire. The Assembler will work on battery assembly for large vehicles. The role involves transporting batteries on a pallet jack and using tools such as drills and torque wrenches. Assemblers will follow blueprints and work instructions. The position requires a strong technical and mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and basic computer skills. **Hard Skills** + Technical and mechanical aptitude + Basic computer navigation and utilization + Use of hand tools, power tools, fabricating equipment, and portable air tools + Drilling, reaming, tapping, riveting, and installing heli-coils + Perform arithmetic calculations and convert fractions to decimals/millimeters + Reading and recording detailed measurements + Proficiency in using software like Google Sheets or Excel + Using auxiliary equipment + Preparing, cleaning, installing, assembling, reworking, verifying, testing, and inspecting components + Measuring parts with micrometers and height gauges + Using drill presses and portable power drills + Using Digital Multimeter to verify functionality of parts + Using torque wrenches + Preventive maintenance of equipment + Identifying non-conforming parts and recommending modifications + Reworking and repairing assembled equipment + Material handling using hand trucks, carts, fork trucks, scissor lifts **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in CAMARILLO, California. **Work Environment** The team consists of about 60 people, working in a brand-new building.
