Mechanical Assembler
**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** Position is responsible for assembly of axles and related components on the line. All is done to ensure a quality axle product for placement to the chassis line in a safe and timely fashion, and to ensure all product is assembled, tested and verified to customer specification. Responsibilities and Essential Functions: - Responsible for building axles and related assemblies in an efficient, quality driven manner. - Responsible for productivity, safety and quality goals set by the company. - Report to line leader, supervisor and/or direct manager any problems that could interfere with the delivery of axles or related department assemblies to the chassis line or the final customer. **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Environment** Production facility with 6 assembly lines Shift: Monday - Friday 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 12:30am PPE: Steel toed shoes (required), jeans, t-shirt (Eye/Ear/Hand protection provided by client) **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
