Mechanical Assembler
**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** You will be building large custom water purification systems. These systems are huge piping apparatuses that produce reverse osmosis filtration water for mines, nuclear plants, sports stadiums, and large commercial buildings. This is not a production line job; it is a project-based role where every day, week, and month will offer new challenges and tasks. Imagine working with a construction crew, brought indoors to an air-conditioned building, collaborating as a team to build these innovative systems. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints. + Build and assemble plumbing manifolds using PVC pipe, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials. + Glue, measure, cut PVC pipes, and polish them. + Attach brackets and hooks as needed. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of experience with a tape measure, able to read in inches and centimeters. + Experience with hand and power tools (screwdriver, drill, wrench). + Ability to read blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + PVC pipe fitting experience is a plus. + Ability to cut and use a saw. + Able to lift 50 lbs. + Fabricating experience is beneficial but not necessary. + Plumbing experience is a plus. **Work Environment** You will work in a large new production shop that features a spacious assembly area, and smaller wiring and welding areas.
