**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using hand and power tools to assemble fabricated metal enclosures. You will also be responsible for efficiently repairing and reworking assemblies, ensuring all outputs are thorough and meet our high standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble fabricated metal enclosures using hand and power tools.
+ Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions or procedures.
+ Operate power/hand tools, measuring devices, and instruments used for assembly.
+ Complete troubleshooting steps for mechanical equipment per inspection procedure guidelines.
+ Perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace in all areas of the production area as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and tape measures (SAE & Metric).
+ Previous assembly experience.
+ Experience with mechanical assembly and welding.
+ Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
+ Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Work Environment**
All positions are available on 1st and 3rd shifts. The work hours are as follows: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:30pm or 3:30pm if working overtime; 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 6pm - 2:30am or 4:30am if working overtime. Optional Saturdays from 5am - 10am. The work environment is clean, and all necessary tools will be provided. Safety is a top priority. It can get hot in the summer, but doors are kept open to ensure ventilation. Enjoy a fun and family-like culture with annual company picnics and Thanksgiving meals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, Illinois.
