**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Performs various operations to join or secure parts in place and installs multi-level subassemblies and modules into racks using complex configurations. **Responsibilities** + Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place. + Install multi-level subassemblies and modules into racks using complex configurations. + Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets. + Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies. + Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as wiring servers and mechanical assembly. + Perform online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. + Set up station with the correct documents and components per assembly drawing. + Handle and install polarized/non-polarized components on designated locations on products. + Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics. + Assist in performing repair work. + Communicate any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors, and/or engineers. + Perform preventative maintenance on production line equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in electromechanical assembly. + Ability to follow wire diagrams. + Attention to detail. + Good computer skills. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a long-term opportunity in an engaging and supportive work environment. You will be required to use ESD straps and perform tasks using hand tools and power tools. The role involves heavy lifting and working on elevated platforms.
