**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Location:** York, SC
**Hours:** 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday (Fridays off!)
**Dress Code:** Casual – comfortable pants, work shoes, and t-shirts are perfectly fine on the shop floor.

**Position Summary:** As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll play a vital role in transforming our engineering designs into reality. You’ll work closely with blueprints and schematics, ensuring each unit is assembled to the highest standards. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a collaborative team, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics with precision.
+ Gather and verify all necessary parts and tools before starting assembly.
+ Position parts accurately and secure fasteners according to specifications.
+ Install electrical wiring, hydraulic hoses, and water lines to ensure operational integrity.
+ Safely operate a variety of tools, including air, power, and hand tools, as well as overhead cranes and forklifts.
+ Conduct thorough inspections to confirm all connections are accurate and secure.
+ Collaborate with team leads to report any defects or issues promptly.
+ Meet production schedules while conserving resources to minimize waste.
+ Assist in the final inspection and documentation of completed units.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in general assembly or specialized training.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs.
+ Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must!
+ Familiarity with safe work practices and proper PPE.
+ Proficient with power and hand tools, and knowledgeable in electrical and hydraulic schematics.
+ Basic math and communication skills are essential for success.

**Pay Details:** $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
