**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The role involves building and assembling housing units, walls, and floors for data cooling centers. You will be responsible for insulating walls, assembling panels using hand and power tools, and utilizing overhead and JIBB cranes. You must be able to read blueprints, schematics, or work instructions to perform wiring assemblies. This position requires lifting up to 50 lbs. on occasion and utilizing computers. You will be expected to build all types of assemblies with minimal supervision, read assembly drawings and wiring diagrams, and hold measurements to specific tolerances. Completing assemblies within goal hours, referencing standards manuals, drawings, lists, and charts, working safely, keeping the work area clean, and assisting with training new employees are also part of this role.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and assemble housing units, walls, and floors for data cooling centers.
+ Insulate the walls of the housing units.
+ Assemble panels using hand and power tools.
+ Utilize overhead cranes and JIBB cranes.
+ Read blueprints, schematics, or work instructions to perform wiring assemblies.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
+ Utilize computers.
+ Build all types of assemblies with minimal supervision.
+ Read assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
+ Hold measurements to specific tolerances.
+ Complete assemblies within goal hours.
+ Reference standards manuals, drawings, lists, and charts.
+ Work safely and report any unsafe situations.
+ Keep work area clean.
+ Assist with training new employees.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of 2 years experience with assembly or hand/power tools.
+ Minimum 2 years experience with tape measure.
+ Proficient with blueprints, schematics, or work instructions.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with mechanical assembly similar to electrical assembly.

**Work Environment**
This position operates on the 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) in a 150,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The dress code includes jeans, shirt, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs. Our team consists of 70-80 employees on the manufacturing floor and around 130 employees in total.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
