Play a critical role in partnering with a company that customizes manufacturing equipment for metal bending machinery when you become a mechanical assembler for their location in East Berlin, CT. What matters most as a mechanical assembler: Competitive pay of $30– $35 an hourOn-site position located in the East Berlin, CT area1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Benefits include; medical, dental, and vision, additional benefits such as group accident, critical illness w/ cancer benefits, short-term disability, behavioral health, term life, and identity theft.Weekly pay via direct deposit Your new role as a mechanical assembler:Study and understand blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerances, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, and sequence of operations.Utilize equipment including, but not limited to, drill press/hand drill, hand grinder, hand router, rivet equipment, miscellaneous hand tools and torque wrenches to assemble parts.Visually and dimensionally check own work prior to submitting to inspection.Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problemsResponsible for the accurate recording of all paperwork and labor entries associated with the position. What you need as a mechanical assembler:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.
