**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Pay: 19.80** Shift: 2pm to 11pm M-F Location: Tempe, AZ **Job Description** Complete complex electro-mechanical assembly using small hand tools and power tools, with potential soldering and machine operation. **Responsibilities** + Perform assembly following manufacturing procedures and blueprints. + Complete manufacturing work order documentation. + Operate basic equipment as needed. + Use a microscope for detailed work. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. + Basic math skills. + Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills. + Ability to recognize and distinguish colors. + Ability to comprehend written assembly instructions. + Knowledge of component preparation and manual insertion of electrical components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). + Mechanical assembly of small electrical components. + Experience with epoxy, RTV, or other adhesives. + Ability to obtain ESD Certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + IPC-A-610 Certification (training provided by employer). + Basic computer skills for program selection from the machine. + Experience with cleanroom procedures. + Familiarity with blueprints and manufacturing processes. + Experience using microscopes in assembly work. **Why Work Here?** The company values employee wellness and provides dedicated support for it. Positions are available for 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM) with a 10% shift differential, and 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM) with a 20% shift differential. Must be willing to start at 10 PM and work until 7 AM for the 3rd shift opening. Overtime, including weekends, is required after training. Work is performed in a clean room where employees must wear a full bunny suit with foot covers, mouth covers, gloves, hair net, and no makeup, fake nails, or nail polish.
