**Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** 1st shift GPW: (Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm) These positions will be in the Aerospace division of the facility where they manufacture, test and inspect aluminum heat pipes. **Responsibilities** + Assist machine operator by choosing the correct program and starting the machine. + Oversee saw operation process and ensure aluminum pipes are cut to meet exact specifications. Will also be trained on bending process of aluminum. + Handle aluminum pipes and take them through a thorough cleaning process according to exact specifications. Each piece must be handled with care due to the high cost. + Perform testing and inspections, including leak testing. **Essential Skills** + Good work tenure (no jumpy resumes) + High level of attention to detail / small parts assembly or machining experience + GED or Diploma **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Machine Shop experience is a plus + Experience with brazing, inspection, soldering, assembly, and machine operation **Why Work Here?** Our client has been recognized as one of the best places to work in PA and strives to maintain an open culture of learning and support.
