Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch on a daily basis. Each unit is custom-made, requiring you to cut piping to specific lengths and braze it according to individual customer needs. You will work off blueprints as needed and assist in assembling the housing units for the racks. This role involves a significant amount of physical activity, including bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.

ResponsibilitiesBrazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch.Cutting piping to specified lengths and assembling according to customer requirements.Reading and working off blueprints.Assisting in the assembly of housing units for the racks.Engaging in physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude with at least 3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction experience.Ability to use a tape measure to cut pipes and insulation to the correct length.Experience with hand tools and blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in plumbing or entry-level welding is beneficial.Experience in fabrication roles, such as MIG welding on mild steel, is a plus.Experience in repairing machinery or automotive work is advantageous.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
