Job Description

Build and program robotics for a variety of manufacturing applications.

ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic production equipment and their housing cells.Build mechanical assemblies such as cages around robots.Conduct electrical assembly, including wiring.Use drawings and blueprints for all assembly tasks.Utilize hand and pneumatic power tools.Lift up to 50 pounds, with some team lifts for heavier items.Perform motor testing and wiring (not live wirings).Adapt to a dynamic work environment with a significant learning curve of about 6 months.Essential SkillsMechanical assemblyMechanical aptitudeProficiency with hand and power tools (wrenches, sockets, drivers)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsExperience in electrical wiringFamiliarity with roboticsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMechanical history (mechanics, machine building, home remodeling, etc.)Willingness to read blueprints/work prints throughout the shiftComfortable with daily task variationsPossibly an associate's degree in automationExperience in automation after 1+ yearWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a large, open, well-lit, and very clean workshop. The environment is climate controlled. The schedule is first shift, Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm, and Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, at $18 an hour!

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miamisburg, Ohio.
